Hold Pre-auth until capture settings
====================================

This section allows you to configure limits for preauth transactions before capture stage. Once the set limits are reached, subsequent preauth transactions are automatically held in :ex:`processing` status.

Operating mode
==============

The :code:`Operating mode` defines the scope of the limits. You can choose between :code:`PROJECT` and :code:`MERCHANT`.

*   :code:`PROJECT` - Limits are calculated across the entire project.

*   :code:`MERCHANT` - Limits are applied individually per merchant.

Preauth live time, quantity limit, amount
=========================================

|  :code:`Preauth live time` - The duration (in hours) after which the blocking period expires. Once this time passes, new pre-auth transactions will resume processing normally.
|
|  :code:`Quantity limit` - The maximum number of preauth transactions allowed to pass. Once reached, new transactions will enter :ex:`processing` status until manually declined or the limit resets.
|
|  :code:`Amount` - The maximum total volume (sum) of preauth transactions allowed. Any transaction that causes the amount to exceed this value will remain in :ex:`processing` status.
